Behind the clutch pedal is the shaft-piston assembly that moves in and out whenever the clutch pedal is depressed. Over time, the lubricant on these moving parts can dry up as well. So the car went back to Honda on Thursday, apparently there is nothing wrong with the clutch as they could not repeat the clutch pedal sticking.

A little disappointed with that to be honest. The brakes however are going back to have the pads shimmed as this should get rid of the squeaking.
