Hells angels membership requirements

Should the Hells Angels be a club? Who are the Hells Angels? What is Hells Angels motorcycle?


The membership requirements, at least officially, for the Hells Angels MC as well as almost all other one percenter motorcycle clubs are relatively straight forward. An important step if you want to learn how to join the Hells Angels, then the next in the list of Hells Angels membership requirements is a motorcycle, but not just any motorcycle.


It should be a Harley Davidson motorcycle, however some other makes including Buell motorcycle (which is owned by Harley Davidson) may also be acceptable.

In general, any of the major one percenter motorcycle clubs. The Hells Angels are probably the world’s most well-known motorcycle club. They’re distinguishable thanks to their ‘death’s head insignia,’ which is a tribute to former San Francisco charter president, Frank Salidek.


There are chapters spread across the globe, making them both powerful and recognizable. To become an official member, which is the last step to becoming a Hells Angel, you will go through a vote which members will decide if you become one of them.


Usually you need 100% of votes to be accepted but it may be different depending on the club you are in. Apparently, Hells Angels should even steer clear of any other social clubs or membership -only groups.


The organization’s website explains, “Never combine your support to Hells Angels with other clubs, street gangs or others if you are unaware of the relationship between those others and the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club.

Members MUST BE white and male. Internationally, some Hells Angels charters have looser race requirements. Joining the Hells Angels should be considered a life commitment.


If you do try and leave the club then you must hand your patches back as they are considered club property, or they will be taken by force. This includes body ink. MC stands for Motorcycle Club.


All members of HAMC World ride motorcycles. It stands for the 8th letter of the alphabet which is an H, and the 1st letter of the alphabet which is an A, HA = Hells Angels.

The reality is that the major 1-percenter clubs do not accept black members. Most Hells Angels members are white males who ride Harley-Davidson motorcycles.


Each is known by a “legal,” or official, name, which may be a colourful nickname. Prospective members face a long vetting and initiation process, and anyone who resigns is required to turn in all regalia bearing the Hells Angels name or “Death Head” insignia.

For example, members who belong to the Hells Angels – one of the most famous motorcycle clubs today – have to meet several requirements if they hope to become patched. First off, they need to have a driver’s license.
