Talks on growing chillies at home and demonstrations by local chefs on cooking with chilli take place all weekend. There’ll be a chilli-con-carne cook-off on Saturday (enter a team!) and chilli eating competitions on both days (enter a friend!). Plus some music, and fun, and laughter, and more chillies!


This landmark event will host a variety of the best chilli producers from all over the UK exhibiting only the best chilli products like mild to crazy extreme chilli sauces, naga cooking sauces, naga dips, pickles, cheeses chilli plants, chilli merchandise and more. With handpicked exhibitors, all passionate about chilli, the festival guarantees to bring you the best of local artisan producers as well as some of the nation’s best loved independent traders from across the country.


There is usually lots of food to taste from mildly spiced food right up to super hot chilli dishes. There will also be live entertainment, music and cookery demonstrations.
