Broadlands is a fantastic english country house, located nr. Romsey, Hampshire which hosts sell out concerts every year. Please note there is no pedestrian access or taxi drop off at this event, you must arrive by car.

We walked up to the house which with its colonnaded front has a commanding presence set in a meadow and with a quiet river at the end of the lawn which is revered with anglers. The tour lasted a good hour and I really want to tell you it was fantastic, but in reality it was a bit dry. Although I’m sure our guide is a fountain of knowledge on the subject it was a shame there was a lack of fun.
