Let off steam in the North York Moors National Park – see stunning scenery and wildlife! A must-see is the celebrity station, Goathlan which became Hogsmeade Station in the first Harry Potter film. Return journey was just slightly shorter as the stops were not as long at the stations.

Mr Allison, who fixes steam engines for a living, was at the show with sons James, 1 Adam, 1 and Evan, 13. He said: Every year we drive down, we took it through the middle of Shrewsbury last. I took 2there early morning and left it while I went to Bartons Heritage day, when that show finished I bought Barton 5to the show.

Trend represents the amount of new votes submitted during the past days. A big thanks goes out to everyone who came out to show their support, and of course, to all the event volunteers, the fair committee, and event sponsors. Kingsfold Show and Kite Festival is held every September and although it is organised by Alan and Lynne Cullen who normally run a Stationary Engine Group,the show has so much more to offer than just Stationary Engines.

Typical exhibits include: traction engines, steam rollers, steam wagons, and steam cars. In order to provide clarity to our suppliers, exhibitors and volunteers we have made the decision without further delay. Much of the event takes place around the North York Moors Railway, with authentic steam trains departing regularly for Levisham(or "Le Visham" as it is called for the weekend) - where a French village occupied by German troops is recreated !

This annual event is a major item in PEEMS calendar. Easter until the end of December. Additional opportunities to visit are available in the run up to each event when we are stoking the boilers in preparation for steaming. STEAM – Museum of the Great Western Railway is Now Open.
