A traditional ‘steam and vintage event’ and a great family friendly fun day out. Performing in the main arena will be the Jez Avery Stunt Show. These are a few photographs from the event.

An amazing show on four wheels, two wheels, one wheel and no wheels plus the ROLLOVER QUAD. It was a very good day but it was also very hot. The display consists of motorcycle and quad street style stunts. It also features quad freestyle jumps over 70ft whilst catching items held 30ft in the air.
Arrive from: 3pm – 8pm Wednesday 31st July, 10am – 9pm Thursday 1st August, 8am – 10am Friday 2nd August. Depart by: Midday Monday th August.
Pickering Traction Engine Rally is a huge event every year held at the showground with Traction Engines, stalls, music, events and fireworks. Trundle along to Camping at Castle Howard Traction Engine Rally, a large site minutes’ drive from Malton market town that does exactly what it says on the tin: gives attendees at the Castle Howard Traction Engine Rally a place to pitch up for the duration. This event has ended.

Farming Yesteryear took place over the glorious weekend of the 10th and 11th of September. Expect to find a lot of pictures of traction engines and cars appearing in my blog over the next few days. There were traction engines, classic cars, funfair rides and stalls selling spanners.
Old crane trucks parked on the edge of a garage in Tbilisi, Georgia. Tickets are not day sp. An annual day show with traction engine displays and fun fair plus music festival with camping available. Pictures from actual film.
The Rally is organised by the Bedford Steam Engine Preservation Society (BSEPS) with the Local Lions club and Scout troupe assisting with the gates, car parking etc. Yorkshire Traction Engine Rally.
