Ok dinghy forum

Next international Championships. The OK seems to attract interesting sailors and in heavy weather is character building. The Finn is easier and more pleasant to sail.


Now as an older person I have just bought a Solo, apparently the most common boat bought off ebay to restore! It has over 3members from all over the world and is used to share stories and photos of cruises and boats, to ask technical questions and find out about places to sail, and to advertise boat related stuff for sale. Hi there, I may have a chance to sail an OK dinghy. OK Dinghy - had one many years ago - ah, happy memories. Thought of trying something new. OK, we’ve lived aboard full or part time for the past years.


We set off with a Bombard AXE inflatable deck and keel. Nice dinghy but it died in the middle of year two, when the bottom became unglued and dropped off (due to old age). It encourages communication about regattas, cruising, Mirror social activities etc.
