Description: A beginners course for prospective skippers. Successful candidates will be deemed qualified to Skipper a small cruising yacht safely by day in tidal waters with which they are familiar.

The first time you safely navigate to a new destination will give you an immense feeling of satisfaction. If you are chartering a yacht abroad you will also need to obtain an International Certificate of Competence (ICC).

It is also accepted by many insurance companies if you wish to own a boat, but more importantly gives you the skills and knowledge to take charge of a yacht with family or friends on-board.
